In June 2024, at just 36 years old, Andy was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic melanoma — devastating news that came as he and his wife, Laura, were raising their 18-month-old daughter, Caroline Jean (“CJ”), and preparing to welcome their son, Peter James (“PJ”).

Over the past year, Andy has fought relentlessly. The first treatment failed, and after nine months, the second stopped working. Now, on a third-line treatment, Andy is critically ill in the ICU — and needs our support.

Andy and Laura have touched so many lives with their warmth and kindness. This GoFundMe was created to help ease the heavy financial burden of cancer — including uncovered medical costs, child care, meals, and daily expenses — so Andy can focus on recovery, and Laura on caring for their growing family.
